Wild Cocoon textiles are produced by hand on a manual traditional floor loom, using ancient techniques with a contemporary twist. Deirdre draws her influence and inspiration from the traditional Vernacular with more than a nod to the modern way of living. Using strong colours and bold structures that long to be touched and enjoyed every day not just special occasions. Wild Cocoon’s cowls to be worn and enjoyed at all times in our volatile climate. All created in a small studio in Claremorris, Co. Mayo in the scenic west of Ireland.
